The crew is the earning engine
Break rocks to discover characters, then assign the useful ones to the plot. Only placed miners work. A rare pull that stays in the chest changes nothing.
A test that does not lie
- Leave the lineup alone and note cash over one repeatable interval.
- Swap a single slot. Keep pickaxes, levels, and the mine the same.
- Repeat the interval. Keep the new unit only if the same result improves. Put the old miner back if it does not.
Rarity is not that result. Deeper research and deeper mines are what the official description ties to rarer finds. One lucky pull is not a drop rate.
Who is worth a slot
Fund and mutate the unit that still clears the zone you are in. Exotic units can spike early damage, and recorded deep-zone mythics later matched or passed early exotics once they held zone pickaxes. If a new mine native outdamages your old exotic on the same rocks, the slot should follow the rocks.
Slots and replacements
Core research adds deployment slots. Until you have the slot, extra summons only fill storage and can be sold by mistake. When you do replace someone, move the best pickaxe with Equip Best so it does not stay on the benched unit.
The public record names only a few miners with numbers. Use the character pages for those observations, and use this swap test for everyone else.
